Blefuj is a simple party game for your browser that you play on one shared phone. It exists to break the ice in seconds, no download, no account, and no complicated rules to explain.
Why we built it
Blefuj started from the classic “impostor” party game people played on scraps of paper and in group chats. We wanted something you could start instantly, pull out a phone, pass it around, and you're playing. Over time we added two-player modes, because the same mechanic turned out to work just as well on a date or a trip for two.
Who Blefuj is for
The game is for anyone who wants to get a group laughing fast: at a house party, on a trip, in a queue, around the table or on a break. Nobody needs to know the rules beforehand, one person reading a short prompt aloud is enough.
- Groups of 3–10 people in the classic mode.
- Two people in the Duo and Mind Leak modes.
- People who don't want to install anything or sign up.
How it's different
Blefuj has its own modes, its own categories and its own style. We prioritise pace and simplicity over big boards or long turns. The whole game fits on a single device, and we write the content ourselves, we don't copy word lists from other games.
Privacy and fair play
Free play needs no account and collects no personal data. Player names, words, secrets and votes stay on your device, we never send them to a server or to ads. Anonymous analytics is off by default and runs only after you consent, and Google ads are governed by Google's certified consent message.
What's new in Blefuj
A short, honest change log, no marketing. The latest bigger updates:
- September 2026, a guide clean-up: we corrected the guides to match the app exactly (impostor limits, three hint modes, the Chaos variant, Mind Leak series rules), labelled house rules, merged two overlapping party guides into one, profiled every free category and added this author section.
- July 2026, a full English version: every guide now has its own /en address, and the page language follows the URL.
- July 2026, expanded guides: new articles on good clues, how we choose words, and settings by player count.
- June 2026, word-database cleanup: a category quality pass and a mechanism that stops words repeating within one session.
- June 2026, two-player modes: Mind Leak gained a 5-round series with separate bluff and detection points plus an onboarding that explains the roles, and Duo its “same or similar word” variant.
About the author
Blefuj is a one-person project. Tomasz Hanusiak writes the game's code, curates and checks the words and secrets, and is the author of every guide on this site. Every change to the rules or settings is first tried out at his own get-togethers with friends and family before it reaches the game, which is why the guides are full of specifics from real rounds: which categories collapse with 10 players, when the impostor wins too often, which questions actually work in Mind Leak.
The guides say “we” because it reads more naturally, but one person is responsible for the content, its accuracy and keeping it current. If something in a guide doesn't match the app, that's a bug to report, not “another version of the rules”: write in, we'll fix it and note the change in the log above.
Who's behind it, formally
Blefuj is run by Tomasz Hanusiak Party Finder (NIP 6812070519), a sole proprietorship based in Krzczonów, Poland. The same person is responsible for the terms and the privacy policy. Have an idea, a note or found a bug? Write to kontakt@blefuj.pl, we read every message.
